Keystone, another Summit County resorts, opened in 1970 as a ski resort and has 2,870 of in-bound skiable acres. The resort village sits at 9,280 feet above sea level while the highest peak reaches 12,408. Keystone is a census-designated place in Summit County, and full-time population count was 1,079 per the last national census in 2010.

Today, Keystone is part of Vail Resorts, Inc., the largest resort company in the U.S. The resort, one of the largest ski areas in Colorado for all levels of riders, offers a cross-country center, Terrain Park and Bowl skiing, championship golf courses, SUP and kayaking, great restaurants and bars, festivals, and more.

Keystone is the only local resort to offer night skiing.
