At the beginning of the Ten-Mile Range and just off the I-70 exit, is the charming Town of Frisco, Colorado, a.k.a. Main Street to the Rockies. With a population of over 2,800 full-time residents, the town is a favorite among locals wishing to avoid the ski resort crowds.

The town offers a great many summer and winter activities, but downhill skiing is not one of them. Though we are close to six resorts, A-Basin, Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone, Loveland, and even Vail, there’s a lot to do if you stay in town:

  • Events through the year, like hosting the Colorado BBQ Challenge that attracts close to a 100,000 to our town during the few days each June, arts festivals, the 4th of July Parade, and the annual Wassail Days each December to celebrate the season.
  • Frisco Adventure Park with its Nordic Center for snowshoeing & cross country skiing; tubing and sledding hills; sleigh rides; disc golf; skate park, bike hills, and camping.
  • Frisco Marina and The Island Grill is an ideal summer spot for docking your boat, renting a SUP or Kayak, hanging out with your friends enjoying a cocktail, live music and food.
